Job description
About Invisix
Invisix Measuring Systems is a fast-growing scale-up in the high-tech industry, developing next-generation metrology solutions for the semiconductor sector. We work at the intersection of optics, software, and data. We're building the team to match our ambitions.
We're a small team, but the depth of knowledge within Invisix is anything but small. Our culture is professional and fast-paced, with short communication lines and a strong sense of shared purpose. Everyone here is committed, and everyone knows their work directly contributes to something bigger. If you want to be part of shaping an industry rather than just working in it, this is the place.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Metrology Tool Owner to operate and maintain and improve our Metrology Test Bench (MTB). It’s a unique measurement system recently relocated to our facility in Eindhoven Noord.
In this role, you are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the MTB: running measurement routines on customer wafers, pre-processing incoming data for quality, and continuously improving the reliability and efficiency of the process.
You'll work closely with a team of experienced metrology engineers and our algorithm specialists, who rely on the quality of your data to extract chip properties for our customers.
This is not a research role. It's technical, precise, and impactful. You'll be the owner of a critical piece of equipment in a cutting-edge measurement environment.
What You'll Do
Execute measurement routines on customer wafers using the Metrology Test Bench
Run and monitor measurement scripts (Python, LabVIEW), ensuring data quality in real time
Identify and resolve tool issues: perform adjustments, troubleshoot hardware, and adapt scripts where needed
Maintain and improve the reliability of the test bench and its surrounding infrastructure
Manage operational logistics: ordering supplies, monitoring consumables (e.g. gases), and ensuring safety compliance
Collaborate closely with algorithm and data specialists who process your measurement output
Work alongside three experienced metrology engineers who bring deep domain knowledge
What We Offer
A role at the heart of Invisix's measurement operations. Directly contributing to customer deliverables
A close-knit, highly skilled team with deep expertise in metrology
Plenty of room to improve processes and make the role your own
Start date: as soon as possible
Location: Eindhoven Noord (on-site)
The Selection Process
Introductory call with HR
Technical interview with one of our senior metrology engineers
Final interview with our CEO or CTO

At least one prior relevant role. Ideally at a high-tech company (ASML, Philips, Thermo Fischer, etc.) or research institute.
A practical, ownership mindset: you spot problems early and take initiative to fix them.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with semiconductor processes or wafer handling
