Applications Demo Team Lead

About Invisix

Semiconductor manufacturers can't build what they can't measure. Invisix Measuring Systems is a fast-growing scale-up in the high-tech industry, developing next-generation metrology solutions for the semiconductor sector. We work at the intersection of optics, software, and data.

We're a small team, but the depth of knowledge inside Invisix is anything but small. Our culture is professional and fast-paced, with short communication lines and a strong sense of shared purpose. Everyone here is committed, and everyone knows their work directly contributes to something bigger.

The Role

We're looking for an Application Team Lead to be the technical face of Invisix towards our customers on demo and application engagements: planning, team coordination, customer reporting and hands-on execution amongst others.

You'll be the main point of contact for our customers' technical teams, turning what they ask for into concrete plans and making sure the Application team delivers on them. You coordinate the team day to day and guide the Application Engineers in their work, while staying hands-on yourself and stepping in on execution when needed. Formal line management of the team sits elsewhere, so your focus is on content, planning and the customer. Internally, you represent the Application team when roadmap priorities are set at program and company level.

Key Responsibilities

·        Act as the primary interface between our customers' technical teams and Invisix on demo and application engagements

·        Lead the activities of the Application team, turning customer requests into concrete execution plans

·        Coordinate the team day to day: prioritize and unblock the Application Engineers' work, own the schedule, and make sure follow-ups happen on time

·        Mentor and support the Application Engineers in their everyday work

·        Contribute hands-on to executing the plans, supporting the Application Engineers in running tasks as well as planning them

·        Present results and insights to customers, and report status to management and to customers' technical representatives

·        Represent the Application team when roadmap items are prioritized at program and company level

Is this you?

·        Senior profile with at least 8 years of experience and a real track record in a customer-facing technical role, including leading proof-of-concepts or evaluations and technical review meetings with customers

·        Hands-on experience applying early-phase technology to real customer problems, such as proof-of-concepts, pilots, feasibility studies or tool evaluations, enough to support the team operationally

·        Experience translating customer and application needs into requirements for software and hardware development

·        Understands how engineering teams interact and depend on each other, and can identify what needs prioritizing for the customer

·        Comfortable working under pressure and with high customer expectations, and willing to travel internationally to customer sites about once or twice a quarter

·        Actively applies AI tooling in daily work (planning, reporting, data analysis, customer material, documentation) to boost efficiency

·        Experience with any of the following is a plus: high-tech equipment or scientific instruments, ideally semiconductor manufacturing or metrology, in-depth metrology expertise, coordinating with supporting teams on remote sites.

What We Offer

·        A role at the heart of Invisix's customer engagements, with real ownership from day one

·        Competitive salary and benefits, including an Employee Share Ownership Plan

·        A learning and development budget to support your growth

·        Flexible working arrangements, and room to grow into adjacent responsibilities as the team scales
